ANDORRA
About Andorra
The Principality of Andorra is a small landlocked principality in south western Europe, located in the eastern Pyrenees mountains and bordered by France and Spain.
Once isolated, Andorra is now a prosperous country mainly through tourism and its status as a tax haven. It has the highest life expectancy in the world, at 83.51 years.
Andorra is a principality with the President of France and the Bishop of Urgell, Spain as co-princes. Politics of Andorra takes place within a framework of a parliamentary representative democracy, whereby the Prime Minister of Andorra is the head of government, and of a pluriform multi-party system.
Executive power is exercised by the government. Legislative power is vested in both the government and parliament. The Judiciary is independent of the executive and the legislature.
A secessionist movement exists, based at Pas de la Casa, but this has only very limited support

Try to Imagine a lush green valley, hidden away from the rest of the world amongst spectacular mountains, yet only a short drive from many of Europe's best-known cities. Andorra is a little-known principality that's been overlooked for centuries. It's unregulated, inexpensive and, best of all, there are no taxes.
Unlike some tax-free regimes, Andorra has total political stability, zero left-wing political parties (labour unions are strictly forbidden and there is no hint of a "socialist mentality" among the natives) and little governmental interference. Fewer than one hundred (0.4% of the total population) work for the government, and both French and Spanish currencies are recognized as legal tender.
The economy is robust and the principality is wealthy (It's duty free with no taxes of any kind whatsoever!). Even its internal postal system is free (supported by sale of Andorran stamps to philatelists around the world).
Safe, secret banking...
The unregulated banking system is among the safest in the world. It is sound, prosperous, computerized, streamlined, discreet and very customer-oriented. Some of the wealthiest people in the world prefer Andorra's low-profile banks to those of secretive Switzerland. You can obtain an account in Andorra and access world markets in total privacy - and you can receive interest rates several percent higher than you would receive in the United Kingdom or the United States.
Free education and health care
In Andorra there is no crime. There is free health care for everyone, including old age pensions. Schools are free
(the adult literacy rate is 100%) and living is cheap.
Andorra has 250 restaurants, some of Europe's best skiing and the largest number of Mercedes limousines per capita in the world.
More than two thirds of all residents are wealthy, self-made foreigners who moved to Andorra because they were fed up with government red tape and destructive bureaucracy.
